We are four men and now also a young girl who like to play in a bluegrassband. After some years playing in a rocknrollband we decided to buy accustic instruments for bluegrass. We made an advertisement in a lokal paper for a singer and someone who could play the mandolin and the violin. Mattias Kjerrman answered and the band was made!
Kurt Johansson had to change the electric guitar for a banjo. Vagn Abel had to buy a contrabase and I had to buy a resonance guitar. Mattias is the one that write the songs and looks for new songs to play. He has got the high tenor voice and sings together with me as a second voice.
Josefine is the girl in the band. She has been a singer in a choir for some years and now been the new voice in our band. We try to play a traditional bluegrass with the countryside romantic feeling in our songs as well as love songs. Sometimes at parties we play swedish tunes as well as rock and rockabilly songs. We are working really hard to be better and be able to make conserts for people to sit and enjoy.

This last summer we had some lovely conserts for small groups of people. The good thing with bluegrass is that we can play without electricity. But sometimes we use a condensator microfone for us all to sing and play in. That gives us a feeling of playing together and to be in good corporation.

We are now preparing for making our third cd. About half of our songs will be written by Mattias and the rest covers of songs from US bluesgrassbands. We also have decided to try to go to USA next year. We have some contacts over in Bristol university in Tennessee so perhaps we can make it.
We look for festivals and possibilities to play in "Bygdegårdar" in the countryside in Sweden. There are people that are interested in this kind of music.
